The creation of the Baptismal Pool is inspired by the image of Jesus being baptized in the Jordan River. The pool is the Eye of God, and the water is the Tears of Christ. The mangrove forest of Anping Harbor in Tainan is the incarnation of the holy land on the banks of the Jordan River. The 24 metal spheres are mooring bollards from the harbor, and they are also symbols of the Tears of Christ. As you gaze into the teardrops, you see your true self reflected in their light.

Under the witness of the Eye of God and the baptism of the Tears of Christ, in the sacred divine light, there is God, there is love, there is you, there is me... It is a brilliant and eternal moment of life.
